![]() Because the lounges and relaxing areas were separate men and women’s, my husband and I let go of our dream of lounging in the spa relaxation are sipping lemon water together fantasy and just lounged in our room until it was time for an epsom salt soak bath and couples massage. I would suggest one thing, add a roku or fire stick to the TVs :) having a fridge and utensils was great because we just wanted to order in. The bathtub was to die for! I never use bathtubs when traveling but I enjoyed every minute in this one. The bed was cozy, fireplace perfect and snacks great. ![]() We loved our strawberries and when we asked for cider instead of wine they quickly swapped out. Just to come home and pay $60 for a much much better pedi. She took so long and wasn’t even a good pedicure and we were so miserable I told her forget about even polishing my toes because we had 5 min left and I didn’t want them sloppy. She was rude when I told her I had gel but I hardly had any on and peeled all but 1 toe off. We even mentioned how completely uncomfortable it was and she said, yeah it’s terrible I know. When I booked I told her after a 4 hour drive it will be awesome to lean back and have our feet pampered. It was the most uncomfortable thing ever. The place you sit is a concrete slab with a 90* angle and some cushions for a seat and back. The pedicure- for this, I would give 0 stars, seriously it was that bad. We counted down the days and talked about our spa retreat coming up for a month! We were pumped and unfortunately let down. The woman on the phone when I booked was super helpful and when I wanted to add services and called back I received great service. We have 4 kids and desperately needed some relaxing and some time alone. I was counting down the days to our “Romance Package” getaway for our anniversary. I waited a little while after coming home to write this review because I was so bummed and upset I did not want to be rude. We’ll definitely be back! Overall nice experience. She seemed surprised that I wanted to know about what’s going on my skin. She didn’t ask about my skin & didn’t tell me about the products or steps. Aesthetician did lots of facial steps & mini massage during the mask. Pedicurist did great with the toes/polish, but feet weren’t smooth after I left. Concrete seats aren’t very comfy but I’m sure they’re durable. Would’ve been better with a more experienced massage therapist. Would be much better with just ocean waves or rain sounds or even just white noise. They tell you not to leave until time’s up. You lay in a chair in a dark, cold room for 45 minutes with salt on the floor & salt in the air. Wouldn’t waste my time or money on this again. Ambiance/setting - great! But too many people use their cell phones even though instructed not to use them in the spa. ![]() Chocolate covered strawberries were a real treat! Plush towels nice quality & quantity.
